Excellent atmosphere, waiter very friendly and helpful. Really had a very pleasant evening.
First time eating here and its been an absolute pleasure- food and atmosphere were very impressive
My first impression of this restaurant was the atmosphere, a warm welcome greeted us and we were shown to our table upstairs. For starters I ordered the duck liver pate, this was delicious with a smooth, creamy consistancy - definitly homemade. I chose the rack of lamb for mains, this was cooked exactly as I ordered- the presentation of this dish was amazing - not to mention the flavour. Overall, we had a really enjoyable night, the food is fantastic and our waitress was great - we'll will be back again.
This place was a pleasant surprise...nice food, way nicer than I would have expected from what I thought was a normal pub... The risotto was tasty and well cooked - and being Italian, I wouldn't say that if it wasn't true...!! Had salmon for main and that was also really nice and cooked to perfection. Service was impeccable and friendly staff alwasy make the food taste even better! There are always offers on during the week so worth checking out - a little off the beaten track if you are coming from town but I woudln't hesitate to recommend it.
